Authentic Thai Food in Simi Valley, CA
About Us
Welcome to our table. Surin Thai Eatery is inspired by Surin, my mother’s hometown in northeastern Thailand—known as the City of Elephants. This quiet region is home to the Kuy people, famed for their skill in training elephants for royal armies, and to some of the world’s finest jasmine rice. It’s a place of deep roots and gentle traditions that guide everything we do.
My mother carries that peaceful, storied heritage into every dish we serve. Our recipes are passed down through generations, prepared with love and patience, and shared the way our family has always cooked—simply, thoughtfully, and with care. Each plate reflects a connection to Surin’s fields, markets, and kitchens.
From our family to yours, thank you for supporting our family-owned restaurant. We’re honored to share our heritage and welcome you to experience the warmth and flavors that make Surin special.

I cannot express how satisfying this place is! The flavors are on point. The service is amazing. The location is nice and clean! We absolutely loved all our orders, wanton soup, basil eggplant, mixed veggies, chicken satay, pad see ew, beef salad and garlic and pepper chicken and had mango sticky rice for dessert! If you are considering trying this place JUST DO IT!

Service was sweet, ambiance was nice, and the food was delicious. We ordered all our basic dishes to try before diving deep. Tom Kha Kai to start - really tasty and warm. Next we had the crab fried rice and shrimp pad Thai which were both prepared so well. It tasted authentic and homemade. They do not skimp on ingredients. I shall be back to try the other dishes.

I've tried all the Thai places in Simi, and this one is by far the best. Got the Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai. The noodles were so moist and saucy, the beef was so tender. I've never had Pad Kee Mao with such tender beef. This is the only Thai place I will be going from now on.
